After climbing Baldy Mountain you will proceed south to hike some of Philmont's other major peaks including Mount Phillips, Big Red, Black Mountain and the Tooth of Time. Much time will be spent hiking and enjoying the remote wilderness. Time permitting,, you may have time to participate in burro packing, mountain man rendezvous, black powder rifle, Continental Tie & Lumber Company, western lore, including boot branding, and gold mining and panning.
