2026 description: 'Challenge your crew to summit some of the iconic peaks of Philmont's South Country while discovering the rich living history of the area. Learn about New Mexican homesteading with the Abreu family and the pioneers of Crooked Creek. Try your hand at high mountain ranching in the 1870s and enjoy a chuckwagon dinner at the end of a long day. Trail Peak, Big Red, Black Mountain, and the Tooth of Time all give your crew the ability to challenge themselves to reach new heights on this rugged trek.'

2025 description: 'If you're looking to bag some peaks while still having some time for program, this itinerary might be for you. It starts with lots of lower-elevation program opportunities before heading up in elevation to more and more peaks and viewpoints of Philmont's beautiful south country. You'll have plenty of opportunities to add more peaks or walk along meadows and streamside trails. Finally everything wraps up with the iconic hike into base camp on Tooth of Time Ridge!'
