start by exploring the historic wonders of the North Ponil canyon before crossing over to the middle Ponil and Greenwood
Canyons. The rivers here delineate the boundary between the Greenwood Tract of the UU Bar Ranch and the Valle Vidal of
the Carson National Forest and offer a true wilderness experience. From here you'll quickly ascend to the high summit of Baldy
Mountain and overlook all of the land you had previously hiked over. While you will check-in with quite a few staffed camps,
