| In 2004 Troop 6 sent 24 youth and leaders on a trek through the south and central portions of the ranch. This is the story of the "Red Crew", 715-D1. This 'typical' trek started at Lover's leap to Urraca, over Urraca Mesa and through the stone wall pass to Bear Caves, past Crater Lake and over Fowler's pass; over Trail Peak on the way to Beaubien, up Rayado Canyon to Crooked Creek and then Clear Creek; over Phillips and down into Cyphers Mine; down the middle fork Cimarron and past the Hunting Lodge to Webster Parks; through Cimarroncito and through Hidden Valley, past Window Rock and Cathedral Rock before passing Clarks Fork on the way to Schaffer's Pass and across Tooth Ridge to Tooth Ridge Camp and then into Base Camp. |
