Woodbadge courses at Philmont

Philmont has been part of Woodbadge in the US from, literally, the beginning. The second course held in the US was at Philmont from October 2 to 10, 1948 and was designed to fine-tuned the syllabus to create standard of Wood Badge for the BSA.

Fifty years later Woodbadge was still active at Philmont with course WM-62-2-98 being held at Zastrow in 1998.

Circle Ten Council continues to run Woodbadge courses at the ranch having done so in 2006 and has plans for a 2007 course.
